Our friend Mark the ship-breaker from Teignmouth England, luckily chanced on the lovely old steam packet, RMS Windsor Castle, as she was being broken up in India and salvaged lots of goodies. The brass fittings we’ve had in prior catalogs. But this, the First Class silver-plate and porcelain service pieces are the real treasure! It is important to understand, the silverware from this ship has worked hard in its life. Been polished many, many times by the crew, but all of the pieces Mark gave us to sell are still in very nice condition. Yes, this stuff is pricey, but very rare, and will become even more rare. They just don’t outfit contemporary cruise ships with this quality of silver service any longer. We have only a very small complement of this silver-plate service. A complete set is available at a special price, if you hurry.
